Farmers' Fare, LLC, was formed in 2012 to create local, seasonal marketplaces in communities where there is a need. In Norfolk, Virginia, Farmers' Fare has partnered with East Beach Company to benefit its residents and the surrounding neighborhoods.

As a local, seasonal marketplace we will feature fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, free range chicken and turkey, fish and seafood, eggs, artisanal breads, scratch made cupcakes, brownies and cookies, with gluten free options available. Virginia's Bounty will have artisanal cheeses from the Western part of the state along with peanuts, maple products, stone ground grains, locally roasted coffee, handmade dips and rubs and more! There will also be locally made dog treats, preserves, and sauces. We have two local produce vendors:  Cullipher Farms and Jose Produce with the freshest harvested vegetables and picked seasonal fruits around. Full Quiver Farm is here with local meats! Don't forget to have a homemade ice cream cone from Gilly's Creamery! There is fresh seafood, organic and sustainably grown produce, berries and poultry products.  See our vendors page for a full list of the wonderful farmers and producers that will be joining us. The good news is we will be growing for sure so keep checking back.

We want to educate and encourage customers to buy local and understand the importance of knowing their food sources. We want them to taste the difference of fresh and learn to love it!



To provide the community with Sustainable, Measurable, Affordable, Responsible, and Trackable (SMART) fare in a seasonal marketplace which creates business opportunities for local farmers and producers. Farmers' Fare endeavors to

  • educate families about the benefits of knowing their food.
  • encourage buying locally to sustain and perpetuate Virginia's farming families.
  • support the community through awareness of eco-friendly practices used by the vendors, and to promote the advantages of such practices for the home.
  • expose customers to the nourishing taste and quality of fresh food.
